It is my pleasure to share that the National Research Return Workshop for the U.S. National Science Foundation sponsored Nepal Critical Transitions Project (NCTP) has been posted. The workshop was the 7th research return workshop conducted by the research team to share and validate preliminary findings and receive contextualization from participants and key knowledge holders and decision makers. The workshop included local Ward Chairpersons and members from the research area, representatives from Nepal Government entities, international and national non-governmental organizations, and applied academics. Results from the 10-year study were shared followed by presentations by the Ward Chairpersons that reflected on the utility of the study findings to their constituencies. Thereafter, the participants discussed how to integrate the results into local, regional, and national contexts and what next steps could be taken to operationalize them.
